Skoch 2010 - The world is open award
The Chennai Corporation received the Skoch Award 2010 in New Delhi for its online integrated public grievance and redressal facilities. Mayor M.Subramanian received the award from Union Minister for Urban Development S.Jaipal Reddy. The facility includes the civic body's 1913 helpline; a mobile number for sending details of grievance through SMS; and its website.
